I finished Lisey's Story . It was a great book. I highly recommend it.
I got a few pages written also. I recently re-read my first book, to get back into the characters for the sequel. It's coming together nicely, at least the beginning. More plot points come to me daily, as I write. I don't have a full outline for this one, but I've got a good idea where I want to take it. My other book I'd been working on, the one that's close to halfway done, is in temporary hiatus. I believe that you've got to write what you're inspired to write, and so that's what I'm doing. I'm positive that I will finish it, but for now I'm happy with my choice.
I'm also playing Death Jr. on my Nintendo Wii. It's a really fun game. That is my one weakness, video games. If anything can keep me distracted from writing, it's killin' bad guys with a controller. I am also playing the crap out of Mario Cart. That game is like digital crack. Just when I think I can put it down, I sneak back for another fix. I'm hopeless.
Oh well, I do get quite alot of writing done, when that bastard Donkey Kong isn't knocking me off a cliff. Or blowing the ass out of me with a blue shell. I really hate the blue shells.
